Citizens for bias and hypocrisy

Filed under: Uncategorized — balustrade @ 6:59 pm

You know you just can’t make this stuff up. SNL writers, back when they were funny, couldn’t come up with this kind of material.

Melanie Sloan, executive director of CREW, has spent the past week questioning Obama’s ethics policies, telling  The Mouth that Obama isn’t living up to his billing. Sloan was all over the media today blasting the Obama “ethics waivers” that allow lobbyists into his administration, as well as the tax problems that Geithner and Daschle had faced.”

“In an interview with AP, Sloan said, ‘If the guy (Geithner) who is overseeing the IRS can get away with a tax problem, how are you going to hold up the health and human services secretary (Daschle) over taxes’

For the last eight years, CREW has climbed through the short and curlys of the Bush administration looking for anything that could be even remotely spun into a scandal. Which is fine, those in power should get regular public anal inspections to at least try to hold them accountable to We The People. But look what happens when the party in power changes? Sloan is basically saying as long as we already have one tax cheat running the IRS, how bad can it be to have one running HHS, as long as he’s a modern liberal.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington has just outed itself as nothing more than a hack Democrat front group. I’ve known that for years, and the next time some one points me to an on-line article that quotes CREW for anything more than the proper process for orally pleasuring the Obama administration, I will not be responsible for my actions.
